Peter Glover

Peter Glover is United Legal's most senior legal practitioner. He graduated in law in about 1985 and has been practising for well over 30 years.

Pete began his career with the long-established firm then known as Gallen's, before working for the Department of Veterans' Affairs and the Corporate Legal Office of the CSIRO. He later joined the firm Scott Campbell Sheils, where he was mentored for many years by Peter Sheils QC, a fierce advocate for injured workers and small business people. That mentoring shaped the soul of United Legal.

For years Pete deliberately ran a small practice taking on only serious injury cases: clients with paraplegia, quadriplegia, brain injuries, amputations and major spinal surgery. When he met Rob Montagnino, the firm grew, but the same principle remains: do a really good job for every client and get the best result possible.

What his business partner says

Sometimes he drives even me, his partner of 19 years, nuts. I can only imagine the grief he causes the insurers. His approach to personal injury claims isn't always conventional, but it does work. He takes on the cases most other lawyers wouldn't touch and usually turns them into diamonds.
